Event Duration: Approx. 1.5 hr

Connecting with local ESEA communities, our Hong Kong and Japan cross-over event consists of two short films and a cross-cultural mochi-making demonstration. Suitable for children. The screening pairs a Golden Horse–winning short about three generations of Hong Kong women with a tender tale of a Japanese American girl navigating the unfamiliar terrain of her inherited ties in Japan.
